2024 Asbestos Register – Health Centre (Building 19)

Please note, that level one of the Health Centre housed the former Humanities Classrooms.

The 2024 inspection identified a mixture of original (some asbestos) and modern materials.

The original Health Centre entry was at ground level as shown by this photograph of the original sign.
However, the Health Centre now includes level one, and the western end of the building is used as Pre-school Day Care Centre.

The following removal was confirmed:

Notwithstanding the above removal of asbestos, the 2024 inspection confirmed residual ACMs.

The following occurrences listed in 2010 are substantially accurate.  

In addition to the above, the panel sheets that supported the Kiln could not be found (samples 69 & 70).

Several asbestos warning labels are visible on walls within the Health Centre.
